EXCURSIONS BY RACING BYCICLES
It’s almost useless to say that the area of the Maggiore lake and the surrounding valleys are rich in uphills “rewarded for champions”, compulsory stages in many Giri d’Italia, to try with but… a lot more!!!
HIKING
The Maggiore lake and the surrounding valleys offer a wide range of possibilities for excursions in the mountains: from Mottarone (reachable by cable way from Stresa) to Val Cannobina, from Parco Nazionale della Val Grande to the Natural Park of Veglia-Devero, from Ossola to Val Vigezzo and so on without excluding less known but not least beautiful valleys.
NORDIC WALKING AND SNOWSHOES
The Nordic walking was born in Finland. It has been spreading very quickly all over the world.
The Nordic walking is a soft exercise which consists of walking but also run and jump using special walking sticks.
FREE CLIMBING & BOULDERING
Expert climbers or aspiring ones, simply neophytes or children can find good sites at the top of Mount Mottarone where you can climb with ropes and mountain hooks.
Even if the Mount Mottarone is one of the least high tops of the chain of Alps, it overviews on one of the most beautiful and peculiar scenarios.
HORSES
Who has ever desired once at least to ride a horse freely in the grass and woods like the cavaliers in a film? And what is best of doing it crossing azaleas, rhododendrons, and the perfumes of the lake? Even if you want to learn to ride or you’re a perfect amazon you can find the pleasure, the emotions and relax you need through the woods.
SAILING
We organize excursions of one or a few days to discover the beauties of the Maggiore lake (Isole Borromee, Castles of Cannero, Santa Caterina del Sasso, Rocca di Caldè).
