EXCURSION BY BIKE TO THE TOCE WATERFALL+ CRUISE ON THE LAKE

An excursions good for who loves sport in touch with nature, even without an Olympic training.
1° day: VISIT TO THE TOCE WATERFALL AND EXCURSION BY BIKE (From July to September only with good weather).
The Symbol of Val Formazza the waterfall of Toce is considered among the best and most majestic ones in Europe.
The Hotel “Albergo Della Grande Cascata”, which was built in 1863 on the top of the waterfall, has always been one of the favourite destinations by tourists from all over Europe. Among famous visitors we can mention the Queen Margherita of Savoy, Antonio Fogazzaro, Gabriele D’Annunzio e the King Vittorio Emanuele III.
Once arrived on the top of the waterfall of Toce we will continue by car as far as Riale, where the helmets and the bikes will be given out.
The adventure starts: at our back one of the most wonderful and majestic waterfalls of the Alps surrounded by cliffs and in front of us the wild nature.
The arrival is expected at Passo San Giacomo.
At the end of the excursion we will go back to Stresa where we will end up the evening with a dinner in a typical restaurant.
2° day: SAILING CRUISE
The cruise leaves from Lido of Carciano in Stresa. The route will be decided according to the conditions of wind, but taking into account the beauties of Lake Maggiore, we won’t have any problems to find a satisfying destination.
The skipper/instructor will teach to who wishes to learn some manoeuvres of the boat.
You can decide whether to eat on the boat or to dock at a small port.
